Sundarban
So many writers have written many books about sundarban,
like ‘Padmanadir Majhi’, of ‘Manik Bandhopadhay’, ‘Arjun Sardar’ of ‘Shiva
Shankar Mitra’, etc. Aparna Sen chosen the Sundarban as shooting spot for the
film ‘Japanese Wife’ which is taken form Kunal Basu’s short story.
In the nearer place Sundarban will be never old.
Sundarban is situated in 10,000 sqkm. areas, the maximum
part of this area belonged of Bangladesh.
This is the largest delta in the world. Meghna,
Bramhaputra and Padma river of Sundarban are being float to the southern part
of Bangladesh.
There is a plant which is known as ‘Sundari’. So many
people think that the name ‘SUNDARBAN’ is inspired by the name of ‘SUNDARI
TREE’. Moreover so many people have known ‘SUNDARBAN’ as ‘SAMUNDARBAN’.
However it named but its beauty is just incomparable. And
also covered by full of mystery;
Sundarban is a National reserve forest. By depending it,
so many visionary places have set up. All over the world Sundarban is most
popular for ‘Royal Bengal Tiger’.
Maximum parts of the forest are especially
lefted for the tigers. In 1973 tiger project is set up in Sundarban. In 4th
May, 1984 Sundarban is build up a National forest.In the salty water of here, many crocodiles are lived,
and also wild animals like pig, deer and monkeys are there. Without those, so
many types of birds are shown. Mangrove forest is as popular as Royal Bengal
Tiger. 334 types of tree are there without the world’s largest eco system. In
winter tiger comes out from forest to drink sweet water of canal.
Sundarban is not only popular as tourist spot, but is
also popular form financial site, 500 quintal of honey in a year and 30 quintal
of wax is getting from here. But the saddest matter is that so many people will
be the food of tiger, while they go to collecting honey. Around 200 to 250
numbers of people are deaths by this procedure.
